Abstract
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) is one of the most important seed spice
crops which occupies sizable area in Gujarat and India. There is need to maintain the
quality of fennel seed through identifying proper stage of harvest and post harvest
technological measures i.e. harvesting stage and drying method. Appropriate stages of
umbel picking play an important role in maintaining quality and production of fennel.
