Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during summer season of the year 2018 at
College Agronomy Farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural
University, Anand (Gujarat) to study “Effect of clipping and plant growth regulators
on growth and yield of summer sesame (Sesamum indicum L.)”. The soil at
experimental field was loamy fine sand in texture, low in organic carbon and available
nitrogen, medium in available phosphorus and high in available potassium with
slightly alkaline (pH 8.12) in reaction.
