Abstract
A male dog was presented with history of non-healing wound in caudal part of scrotal skin with intense itching, intermittent vomiting and diarrhoea for past three months. Hard mass with ulcerative surface in scrotal skin and erythematic patches adjacent areas over the skin covering of thigh, penis and prepuce were observed. Fine needle aspiration biopsy revealed round tumor cells with cytoplasmic metachromatic granules. No metastasis of tumor in the body regions. Chemotherapy protocol was followed using Inj. Vinblastine, Tab. Prednisolone and Tab. Ranitidine. Periodical hemato-biochemical evaluations were done at fortnight interval to monitor any side effects. Animal recovered uneventfully after treatment.
