Abstract
The present investigation was carried out with an objective to study the
magnitude of heterosis and combining ability through diallel analysis involving
ten parents in grain amaranth (Amaranthus spp.). The ten parents were crossed
in a diallel fashion (excluding reciprocals) in rabi 2003-04. The resultant
45 hybrids along with ten parents were evaluated in Randomized Block Design
with three replications during rabi 2004-05, at AICRP on Underutilized crops
