Abstract
The present study was undertaken with a view to know the extent of
heterosis, combining ability, G x E interactions and stability parameters in
sesame for yield and yield attributing traits. The hybrids were developed by
adopting diallel mating design excluding reciprocals involving ten Indian
sesa~e genotypes during kha,-if 2004. The resultant 45 hybrids were
evaluated along with their parents in a randomized block design with three
replications under four environments at Sardarkrushinagar, during kharif
2005.
