A note on the occurrence of Parabronema smithi in wild elephant

Abstract
Occurrence of a spirurid round worm on necropsy of wild elephant calf in Mudumalai wild life sanctuary revealed ulcers in stomach and round worms identiļ¬ed as Parabranema smithi. The round worms had characteristic six horse- shoe shaped cephalic cordons.
