Both hormonal protocols used during the present study in anoestrus buffaloes under field & farm conditions resulted in better oestrus induction and good conception rates particularly during low breeding season, suggestive of better scope for their use, particularly the CIDR protocol, by the practicing veterinarians to handle the problem of anoestrus in buffaloes. However, more number of buffaloes may be experimented to authenticate the use of CIDR in ameliorating the anoestrus condition in buffaloes.
