    Poultry industry has made tremendous progress in the country after independence. Indian Poultry Industry has grown rapidly at a rate of 15% to 20% during the last two decades and is now a Rs. 65 billion mega-industry providing employment to 1.5 million people. The future is even brighter with a growing domestic market, rapid industrialization and economic liberalization. Several breakthroughs in poultry science and technology have led to development of genetically superior birds capable of high production, even under adverse hot climate. The contribution of poultry as animal protein provider has been immense. In 2003 the egg production in India was 4,38,000 million or 3.9 per cent of total world production and meat production was 1.92 million tons or 3.0 per cent of world production. The contribution of poultry industry to gross national product is projected to touch Rs 60,000 crores by 2010 A.D.

    Enteric infections in cattle and buffaloes have been identified as the major constraints affecting performance, thus causing a great economic loss to the formers and to the meat industry. The enteric infections in the bovines are widespread and the influences of season, year, parity and level of inheritance on their incidence have been reported by several workers (Patil et al., 1992 and Rajesh Agarwal et al., 2002).

    Neoplasia literally means a new growth. It is a growth of new cells that proliferates without control, serves no useful function to the body and has no orderly arrangement. It has remained as a fatal problem of humans and animals since centuries. The incidence of neoplasia has assumed an increasing trend in domestic animals especially canines due to their prolonged longevity of life or the factors not known, which has demanded much attention and early diagnosis of the condition. The main aim of the clinical practice is early diagnosis, to take proper treatment regime and to declare prognosis of a patient with cancer, which is achieved in the field of oncology by many laboratory techniques.

Hot and humid climate, Inadequate drying and improper storage conditions have increased the susceptibility of scarcely available feedstuffs to fungal contamination, thus undermining the use of quality feed ingredients to sustain the fast growing broiler industry
