Ophthalmic examination revealed chronic deep corneal ulcer on the left eye. The presented case was successfully treated with temporary tarsorrhaphy and medical management. The number of swellings and the affected sites were increasing in regular intervals. On fine needle aspiration, clear fluid of water like consistency was obtained revealing cyst. The multiple cysts located in various parts of the body in the same animal were surgically excised without causing rupture of the cyst wall or spillage of the cystic fluid. Per vaginal examination revealed, multiple vaginal masses cranial to the urethral orifice with patent urethral opening. Vaginal masses were surgically excised after episiotomy and panhysterectomy was performed to avoid recurrence. Senthil; Jayakumar, K.; Vishnugurubaran, D.; Kumaresan, A.; TANUVASObstruction of oesophagus is common in ruminants. However, in small ruminants, it is a rare occurrence. Esophageal foreign body occurs when the animal attempts to swallow an object that is too large or sharp to pass smoothly through the esophagus. Caudal part of esophagus is narrow and wide thereafter, where material is most likely to get struck. Obstruction due to migration of vegetables, phytobezoars and rubber sheets (Ojha and Mohanty, 1970, Umakandhan, 1995, Dilipkumar, 1998) were reported in ruminants. Oesophagotomy is the only corrective surgery in cases where a conservative treatment fails. A case of esophageal obstruction sorghum cob and its successful surgical management through cervical oesphagotomy in kid is placed on record.ArticleItem Open Access Positive Contrast Mammography - An Aid for Diagnosis of Udder Fibrosis in a Cow(Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., 2017-07) Vishnugurubaran, D.; Kathirvel, S.; Rani, R. Uma; TANUVASA crossbred cow was presented with calving two days before and no let down of milk from all four quarters. Animal had history of mastitis during the previous lactation. Physical examination revealed hard mass at base of all four teats. Clinical examination with teat probe revealed patent teat canal in all four quarters. Tentatively the condition was diagnosed as udder fibrosis due to chronic mastitis. To confirm the diagnosis, contrast radiography of udder was performed. Iodinated contrast radiography agent was injected in to each quarter.
