The cutaneous lesions appeared as rough or with thorny surface and cauliower like masses of varying size. They were irregular in shape, attached by a narrow stalk with broad base. Histopathological examination of the warts revealed thickened epidermis with nger-like projections. Epithelium grew into the connective tissue and formed typical rete-pegs. The case was diagnosed as bovine papilloma.ArticleItem Open Access Pathology of Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus (Gdv) in a German Shepherd Dog – A Case Report(Indian Veterinary Association, 2017-11) Ruthra, M.; Arulmozhi, A.; Madheswaran, R.; Balasubramaniam, G.A.; TANUVASA four-year-old female German shepherd was presented for Post mortem examination with the history of salivation, retching, abdominal distension and recurrent bloat for the past 6 months. At necropsy, the stomach was twisted and severely distended with gastric contents. The gastric mucosa revealed greenish to blackish discolouration and its serosa showed severe engorgement of the blood vessels. The intestines exhibited severe serosal congestion and its lumen was empty. Twisting of duodenal part of intestine on its mesenteric axis was also noticed. Mild hepatomegaly with rounded borders and rib impression over the parietal surface were noticed. The spleen showed severe enlargement and appeared as ‘V’ shaped.
