The intestines exhibited severe serosal congestion and its lumen was empty. Twisting of duodenal part of intestine on its mesenteric axis was also noticed. Mild hepatomegaly with rounded borders and rib impression over the parietal surface were noticed. The spleen showed severe enlargement and appeared as ‘V’ shaped.
