However, in last few decades, presence of A1 b casein in milk was associated with important issues associated with range of illnesses in human being. In this study a total of 85 cattle blood samples (Kangeyam and HF crossbred) were analysed for A1 b casein gene based on AS-PCR. A1/A2 genotype frequency data indicated that 37% were A2 homozygous (A2A2), 17% were A1 homozygous (A1A1) and 46% heterozygous (A1A2) in HF cross bred cattle. The pure Kangeyam (Bos indicus) cattle breed had only A2 gene and showed only A2A2 genotype, which produce safer A2 milk for the human consumption. The Holstein Friesian cross breed animal also showed mostly of A2 gene (0.595).ArticleItem Open Access Influence of Non-Genetic Factors on Birth Weight of Tellicherry Kids Reared under Intensive Goat Farming in Tamil Nadu(Print and Electronic Form, 2015) Muthuramalingam, T.; Malarmathi, M.; Pothiappan, P.; Devi, T.; Gnanaraj, P. Tensingh; TANUVASA study was conducted in sixty numbers of tellicherry kids at a well managed private farm, Chennai in 2014. The factors assessed were sex of the kid, type of birth (single, twin and triplet), age of the doe and weight of the doe at the time of kidding. Statistical analysis was performed using SAS statistical package program (SAS, 1998). Diff erence between two means was evaluated using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The overall least squares mean of birth weight and type of birth in Tellicherry goats was 1.95±0.08 and 2.27±0.09 respectively. Our fi ndings revealed that type of birth, sex of the kids and age and weight of the doe exerted a signifi cant eff ect (P<0.001) on birth weight of kids. It was concluded that famers should consider the age as well as weight of the dam before breeding for be er birth weight of kids.ArticleItem Open Access எருமைப் பண்ணையம் அருமைப் பண்ணையம்(2014-08) Malarmathi, M.; Yasotha, A.; Vadivoo, V.S.; Kalaiselvei, G.; TANUVASArticleItem Open Access குறைவான மூலதனத்தில் நிறைவான வருமானம் தரும் வாத்துகள்!(2016-06) Malarmathi, M.; Vadivoo, V.S.; Kalaiselvi, G.; Senthilkumar, T.M.A.; TANUVASArticleItem Open Access செம்மறியாடுகளில் இனப்பெருக்கமும் எடைப் பெருக்கமும்!(2017-10) Malarmathi, M.; TANUVASArticleItem Open Access நமது ஆரோக்கியத்தில் நாட்டு மாட்டுப் பாலின் பங்கு(2014-12) Malarmathi, M.; Senthilkumar, T.M.A.; Muthuramalingam, T.; TANUVASArticleItem Open Access நம்ம ஊரு சண்டைக் கோழி அசில்!(2014-06) Malarmathi, M.; Vadivoo, V.S.; Yasotha, A.; TANUVASArticleItem Open Access பறக்கக்கூடிய மற்றும் பறக்கமுடியாத பறவைகளின் பாலினங்களை மூலக்கூறு அடையாளங்காட்டிகளைக் கொண்டு கண்டறிதல்: ஒரு ஒப்பீட்டு ஆய்வு(Veelan ariviyal tamil iyakkam, Newdelhi, 2016) Saravanan, R.; Maheshkumar, G.; Malarmathi, M.; Murali, N.ArticleItem Open Access பூனைக்குச் சோறு போடலாமா?(2014-06) Malarmathi, M.; Yasotha, A.; Vadivoo, V.S.; TANUVASArticleItem Open Access பெருமையைத் தேடித் தரும் நம் நாட்டுப் பசுக்கள்!(2014-07) Malarmathi, M.; Muthuramalingam, T.; Senthilkumar, T.M.A.; TANUVAS
