Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Indian Agriculture is in the tribes of change from tradition bound subsistence farming to scientific cultivation of land. Objectives of the study: 1. To study the socio-economic characteristics of the tribal farmers. 2. To study the training needs of the tribal farmers in the sub-items of training in relation to maize crop. 3. To study the training needs of the tribal farmers in the main items of training in relation to maize crop. 4. To study the relative suitability of timings, duration, size of training groups and conclusion for the tribal farmers in relation to maize crop. 5. To study the association between the selected socio-personal characteristics of the tribal farmers with the training needs.
