The buffaloes were selected on the basis of history as well as gynecological examination, the postpartum anoestrous (not showing symptoms for more than 100 days after calving) and repeat breeding (not conceiving following three inseminations) animals were randomly allotted to two dietary treatments i.e. T1 (Ionic mineral mixture) and T2 (Chelated mineral mixture), following Completely Randomized Design. The buffaloes in control group (T1) were supplemented ionic mineral mixture with feeding schedule followed by the farmers (concentrate + green roughage + dry roughage) and those in T2 were supplemented with chelated mineral mixture group + farm feeding schedule as in T1.en_US
