Abstract
The study entitled
Eff ect of P otassium and Potassium M o bilizing B acteria
(KMB) with and without FYM o n yield and nutrient uptake by w heat ” was
carried out a t Agronomy F arm , B. A. College of Agriculture, Anan d Agricultural
University, Anand (Gujarat) during rabi season of the year 2019 20
The experiment compri
sing twelve treatme nt combinations was laid out in
Randomized Block Design (factorial) with three replications. The treatment consisted
of two levels of FYM viz ., 0 t ha 1 (F 0 ) and 10 t ha 1 (F 1 ) and two levels of Potassi um
Mobilizing B acteria viz ., withou t KMB (KMB 0 ) and with KMB (KMB 1 ) and three
levels of potassium viz ., 0 kg K 2 O ha 1 (K 0 ), 20 kg K 2 O ha 1 (K 1 ) and 40 kg K 2 O ha 1
(K 2 ). The soil used for the experiment was alkaline in reaction low in organic carbon
and available nitrogen, medium in availab le phosphorus and p otassium. With respect
to DTPA micronutrients Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu were in sufficient.
