Abstract
This study was conducted on Banni breed of Indian river buffalo (Bubalis
bubalis) maintained at a Dairy farm of progressive farmer under Amul milk shed area
in Chikhodra village, Anand. The aim was to study the effect of ovarian stimulation
induced by exogenous hormones on the oocyte recovery rate by Ovum Pick-Up
(OPU) in stimulated donor buffaloes (Objective 1), followed by observing effect of
the same on in vitro embryo production (IVEP) efficiency (Objective 2) as compared
to the non-stimulated donor buffaloes.
