Abstract
A field experiment entitled “Effect of INM on summer pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum l.) and its residual effect on succeeding kharif green gram (Vigna radiata l.) under Typic Ustochrepts” was conducted during summer and kharif, 2019 at College Agronomy Farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat). The soil of experimental site was loamy sandy with pH of 8.16, electrical conductivity 0.23 dSm-1, low in organic carbon (2.85 g kg-1) low in available nitrogen (188 kg ha-1) and medium in phosphorus (53.7 kg ha-1) and high in potash (537.6 kg ha-1). The experiment was laid out in a randomized completely block design with ten treatments viz. T1-100% RDF (control) , T2-100 % RDF + 10 t FYM ha-1, T3-100 % RDF + 10 t FYM ha-1 + Bio NP Consortia, T4- 100 % RDF + 15 t FYM ha-1, T5-100 % RDF + 15 t FYM ha-1 + Bio NP Consortia, T6-75% RDF + 10 t FYM ha-1, T7- 75% RDF + 10 t FYM ha-1 + Bio NP Consortia, T8- 75% RDF + 15 t FYM ha-1, T9- 75% RDF + 15 t FYM ha-1 + Bio NP Consortia, T10-15 t FYM ha-1 + 5.0 t Vermicompost ha-1 + Bio NP Consortium with four replications. Treatments were given to summer pearl millet crop whereas succeeding kharif green gram was grown under absolute residual basis with same layout of experiment.
