dc.description.abstractThe present study, undertaken at Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, B.A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during 2005-2008, describes anther culture studies using anthers of two parental lines and their heterotic hybrid viz. IR-58025 (B-line), Gujarat- 7 (GR-7) and IR-58025 A x GR-7 (F1) of rice (Oryza sativa L.), an important cereal crop to develop a consistent regeneration system for the production of haploid/doubled haploid plantletsen_US
