Introduction: Inspite of significant advancement in the field of agriculture and several efforts through number of programmes launched to carry these new technologies to the door steps of the farming families our goal of self sufficiency in food grain production remains unattained. This is only due to the fact that a wide gap still found to existc between available technology and its adoption by the users. A complete analysis of the process of adoption of innovations which is found to be affected by number of dependent factors acting all together at a time is essential as this leads to form a barrier-complex in transfer of technology. A study to locate constraints experienced by the maize growers in adoption of Hybrid maize technology therefore assumes special significance in this direction.en_US
