Abstract
The present investigation entitled “Effect of different chemical fertilizers spray, growing media and growing structures on growth and development of acid lime seedlings cv. Kagzi” under middle Gujarat climatic conditions was carried out at the Horticultural Research-cum-Demonstration Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during the year 2010-2011. The experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design (Factorial) with eighteen treatment combinations and three repetitions. The treatments comprised three medias M1 [Soil + cocopeat + vermicompost (1:1:1)], M2 [soil + cocopeat+ FYM (1:1:1)] and M3 [soil + FYM (1:1)] ,three conditions viz. S1 [net house (75% shade)], S2 greenhouse (open vent) and S3 [open nursery conditions] and the fertilizer spray comprising of
two level viz, F1[spray of NPK 19:19:19 @ 1.0 g/liter + micronutrient grade IV @ 1.0 g/liter at 10 days interval.] and F0[no fertilizer spray]. The observations were recorded at two months intervals.
