Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at the Pulse Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Model Farm, Vadodara to study the "Integrated nutrient management in rabi sweet corn under Middle Gujarat conditions" during the rabi season of the year 2006-07. The soil of experimental plot was loamy sand in texture. It was low in organic carbon and available nitrogen, while high in available phosphorus and potash with pH 7.7 and EC value 0.41 dSm-1. Twenty treatments comprising of five levels of organic manures (no organic manure, Castor Cake (CC) @ 2 t ha-1, CC @ 1 t ha-1 + Vermicompost (VC) @ 4 t ha-1, CC @ 0.5 t ha-1 + VC @ 6 t ha-1 and VC @ 8 t ha-1) and four levels of chemical fertilizers [0% Recommended Dose of Fertilizers (RDF), 50% RDF, 75% RDF and 100% RDF (120: 40: 00 NPK kg ha-1)] were tried under Factorial Randomized Block Design with three replications
