dc.description.abstract | The present investigation on “Genetic Variability and Character Association Studies in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)”was studied in a set of twenty seven genotypes grown in a randomized block design with two replications at Agronomy Farm, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during rabi 2006-07. Observations were recorded on number of days to flowering initiation, number of days to 50 per cent flowering, number of days to maturity, plant height, number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, seed yield per plant, protein content, 100-seed weight and harvest index. | en_US |
