dc.description.abstractCastor is one of the important oilseed crops cultivated in Gujarat under irrigated as well as rainfed conditions. Due to diversified use of castor oil, It has attracted the farmers to grow the crop on & large scale. The hybrid castor variety GAUCH-1 developed at Oilseed Research Station, Junagadb is a very promising variety with nonshettering characteristics and hence it is widely adopted in Gujarat. Very limited Information is available in India and abroad on its abilities to respond to better management practice particularly to irrigation. The present investigation wet undertaken with a view to study the effect of moisture regimes and nitrogen levels on its yields and yield attributes.en_US
