Abstract
An investigation entitled “Effect of etiolation, wrapping materials and media on rooting and survival in air layering of guava (Psidium guajava L.) cv. Allahabad Safeda” was conducted during the year Kharif - 2017 at Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. The treatments comprised two levels of etiolation (E) viz., E0- without etiolation, E1- with etiolation, with two levels of wrapping materials (W) viz., W1- Black poly wrapper (200 gauge), W2- Transparent poly wrapper (200 gauge) with five level of growing media (M) viz., M1- Soil, M2-Sphagnum moss, M3- Sphagnum moss + Soil (1:2), M4- Sphagnum moss + Soil (1:1), M5- Sphagnum moss + Soil (2:1). The experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design (Factorial) with twenty treatment combinations and repeated thrice.
