With a view to judging the efficacy of different Zn carriers incubation as well as field experiments were taken up. An incubation study was carried out to determine the influence of 5 ppm Zn applied through different carriers on available Zn content of loamy sand of Anand popularly known as goradu soil. One kg soil was incubated at room temperature and moisture level was maintained at 50 per cent of its water holding capacity throughout the incubation period of 60 days. Zinc availability was measured periodically i.e.. on 3, 15, 30, 45 and 60 days after incubation.en_US
