Abstract
The presence study entitled “Investors` perception and selection behavior of Exchange traded funds: A study in Ludhiana” aimed to study the importance of sources of information, perception and selection behaviour of investor regarding Exchange Traded Funds. Primary data was collected from 300 randomly selected ETF investors in Ludhiana city through use of personally administered questionnaire. A typical ETF investor, according to study is male, around 40 year of age, is graduate or above and is married. Most commonly the ETF investor rated their knowledge on turn ETF as fair and above. Convenience was found to be most important and statistically important objective. Return performance of ETF was found to be most important and significant source of information. Return performance easier investment process and reputation of ETF companies were found to be important and significant factor effecting the selection of Exchange Traded Funds.
