Abstract
The study on diversity of soil macroinvertebrates in Anand district of Gujarat
state was carried out during November 2018 to April 2019. Total 122 samples were
collected from various habitats (i.e. plantation, forested area, Paddy, field hedge and
grassland) falling in Alluvial plain and Coastal plains (Bhal) zones (soil type). The
specimens recovered from samples were identified up to family level. Then sorted it
in morphospecies level and photographed using stereo zoom microscope.
