Abstract
The critical limit is the criterion for application of any nutrient to the crop.
Existing critical limit for Mn is 5.0 mg Mn kg-1 soil for Gujarat. With the adoption of
the new agricultural technologies and intensive cropping, the depletion of
micronutrient has increased day by day. Thus, due to change in agricultural scenario it
is necessary to recheck the critical limits of several micronutrients. Therefore, the
research work was carried out for “Evaluation of critical limit for manganese
under Typic Ustochrepts soil”.
