An experiment conducted on “Standardization of fertigation schedule for growth, yield and quality of jasmine [Jasminum multiflorum (Burm. f.) Andrews] under Eastern dry zone of Karnataka” was carried out at Regional Horticultural Research and Extension Centre, UHS campus, Bengaluru during 2014-15. Experiment was laid out in Factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (FRCBD) comprising of four levels of fertigation (control - soil application of 60:120:120 g NPK per plant, 30:60:60 g NPK per plant (50%), 45:90:90 g NPK per plant (75%) and 60:120:120 g NPK per plant (100%) through fertigation and two levels micronutrients (no micronutrients and ZnSO4, CuSO4, MnSO4, FeSO4 and Borax @ 0.72 g each/plant). Results reveals that, application of 60:120:120 g NPK per plant plus ZnSO4, CuSO4, MnSO4, FeSO4 and Borax at 0.72 g each per plant through fertigation resulted in increased plant height (84.60 cm), plant spread (103.40 cm), number of branches (13.79) and number of suckers (10.97). Same treatment has influenced in early bud initiation (42.40 days), 50 per cent flowering (50.52 days), increased flower diameter (42.07 mm), corolla tube length (14.92 mm). Also, highest flower yield per plant (88.32 g), cumulative yield (288.23 g) and yield per hectare (6.00 t) and shelf life (46.49 hr) has been recorded from same treatment. 100% RDF with micronutrients has resulted highest soil (N, P, K, Zn, Cu, Mn, Fe and boron), leaf nutrient content (N, P, Zn, Cu, Mn and B) and benefit cost ratio (2.04). Whereas, highest soil K content, leaf Fe content was recorded in 100% RDF without micronutrients and 75% RDF with micronutrients, respectively. Higher, water (0.175 kg/m3) and fertilizer use efficiency (82.09 kg/kg) was scored by 60:120:120 g NPK per plant plus micronutrients and 30:60:60 g NPK per plant, respectively.en_US
