The study on “Transcriptome Analysis of Paramphistomum cervi in goat (Capra hircus) using Next Generation Sequencing” was undertaken after collecting the parasites from rumen of goats from slaughter house. The basic objectives of the present study were to analyze some groups of transcriptome predicted to play key roles in essential biological processes in the parasite. The morphological identification was conducted at Department of Parasitology, Veterinary College, AAU, Anand. Histological identification was carried out at Department of Pathology, Veterinary College, AAU, Anand. After sequencing on Ion PGM, data obtained in the form of reads were analyzed by using various databases at Department of Animal Biotechnology.en_US
