Abstract
The present investigation entitled “Effect of stem cutting and growth
regulators on the propagation of fig (Ficus carica L.) cv. Black Ischia” was
carried out at Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College
of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during Kharif-2019. Treatment
comprising of two levels of stem cutting (C) viz., C1- Tip cutting, C2- Basal cutting
with six levels of plant growth regulators (G) viz., G1- IBA 500 mg/l, G2- IBA 750
mg/l, G3- NAA 500 mg/l, G4- NAA 750 mg/l, G5- IBA 500 + NAA 500 mg/l, G6-
Control. The experiment was laid out in Completely Randomized Design with
factorial concept (FCRD) with twelve treatment combination and repeated thrice.
