Abstract
The present study entitled “In vitro clonal propagation of Teak (Tectona grandis
L.) from nodal explants’’ was conducted at Centre for Advanced Research in Plant
Tissue Culture, AAU, Anand, Gujarat, during 2020-21. Nodal segments of teak as
explants were selected for the study. The experiments were conducted for develop
axenic cultures of teak from nodal segments. The second experiment was conducted to
standardize media for sprout induction, shoot multiplication and in vitro rooting. The
third experiment was conducted to standardize an effective method of hardening for in
vitro propagated plants in teak.
