dc.description.abstractThe present investigation was performed to harness the potentialities of date palm fruit, with respect to organoleptic, neutraceutical and nutritional values, primary processing, value added products and shelf life. The mean overall acceptability was noted to be maximum for khuneizi (8.77) followed by barhee (8.71), zahidi (8.64), khalas (7.94), halawy (7.77), khasab (7.74), medjool (7.03), khadrawy (6.98), shamran (6.55) and nagal (5.69) on nine point hedonic rating scaleen_US
