| dc.description.abstract | Investigations were carried out on bio-efficacy of insecticides and botanicals alone and in combinations against leaf eating caterpillar, Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) as well as effect of botanicals on biology, antifeedant and ovicidal activities on S. litura under field cum laboratory conditions during Kharif 2016 at Department of Agricultural Entomology, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. Seven different botanicals viz., NSKE 5 per cent, neem oil 0.5 per cent, tobacco decoction 2 per cent, parthenium leaf extract 5 per cent, pongam oil 3 per cent, lantana leaf extract 10 per cent, neem leaf extract 10 per cent and insecticides viz., chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC (0.0055%), emamectin benzoate 5 SG (0.0025%), flubendiamide 480 SC (0.014%), profenophos 50 EC (0.05%), indoxacarb 15.8 EC (0.015%), thiodicarb 75 WP (0.15%), novaluron 10 EC (0.015%) were evaluated. | en_US |
