Abstract
The present investigation on “Effect of topping on growth
parameters, seed and khakhari yield in bidi tobacco (Nicotiana
tabacum L.) varieties” was carried out at Bidi Tobacco Research
Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during the year
2014-15. The field experiment was laid out in Factorial
Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with four replications
comprising eight treatment combinations of four varieties
(Anand 119, Anand 145, GT 7 and ABT 10) and two topping
levels (topping and no topping).
