Abstract
India is an amazingly young country when the rest of the world is ageing.
Half of India’s population (1.3 billion) is below the age of 25. After independence,
continuous efforts had been made in improving the education system of the country.
When we speak about 4E’s of education i.e., Expansion, Equity, Excellence and
Employability. Employability is the major issue we are facing today. Ironically, it is
not just the uneducated and untrained lacking of required skills, but also the educated
ones are consistently lying below the required standards.
