dc.description.abstractInvestigations on effect of organic manures and botanical insecticides on pest incidence of okra were carried out at B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during Kharif 2005 and Summer 2006. Results revealed that the treatment of 75% recommended dose of neem cake + 25% that of chemical fertilizer proved to be significantly effective in reducing the aphid, Aphis gossypii (15.28 aphids/leaf), leaf hopper, Amrasca biguttula biguttula (2.75 leafhoppers/3 leaves) and fruit borer, Earias vittella (2.37%) population over all other evaluated treatments.en_US
