dc.description.abstractThe present investigation entitled Effect of different sources and levels of nitrogenous fertilizers on growth, flowering and corm yield of gladiolus (Gladiolus grandiflorus L.) cv. ‘American Beauty’ was conducted at the College Nursery, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during Rabi season of the year 2010-11. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with factorial concept and replicated three times. The treatments comprised of three different sources of nitrogen viz., ammonium sulphate, urea and 50% ammonium sulphate + 50% urea and four levels of nitrogenous fertilizers viz., 100, 150, 200 and 250 kg N/ha.
