dc.description.abstractThe field experiment was carried out at the AICRP on weed control farm, B. A. College of agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during summer season of the year 2011-12 on the “Effect of herbicides applied with and without manures on physico-chemical properties of soil and chemical composition of Pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum L.)”. The experiment was laid out in randomized block design (Factorial) with three replications. Among manures, farm yard manure @ 10 t ha-1 and vermicompost @ 3 t ha-1 were applied and compared with no manure (Control)en_US
