Abstract
The pot culture study entitled, “Yield and quality of chickpea (Cicer arietinum
L.) as affected by saline irrigation water under middle Gujarat condition” was
carried out during rabi season of the year 2019-20 in the net house at Department of Soil
Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Anand Agricultural University, Anand with a view
point of studying the performance of four chickpea varieties {GG 2 (V1), GG 4 (V2), GG
5 (V3) and GJG 6 (V4)} against four saline irrigation water levels {1.0 (S1), 4.0 (S2), 6.0
(S3) and 8.0 (S4) EC dS m-1
} laid out in Completely Randomized Design (Factorial) with
three repetitions.
