Abstract
A field experiment was carried out in loamy sand soil at College Agronomy Farm, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat during post-rainy season of 2010-11 to study the “Varietal Performance of post-rainy pigeonpea (Cajnus cajan L. Millsp.) at different time of sowing in loamy sand soils”. Twelve treatment combinations comprising four time of sowing (D1: 3rd week of Sept., D2: 10 DA D1, D3: 10 DA D2, and D4: 10 DA D3), as main plots and three varieties (V1: BDN-2, V2: AGT-2, and V3: GT-102) as sub plots were tried out in a split plot design with four replications.
