Abstract
The field experiment entitled “Effect of fertility levels and vermicompost on growth, yield and quality of malt barley ( Hordeum vulgare L.)” was conducted at Agronomy Farm, College of Agriculture, Bikaner, during winter seasons of 2006-07 and 2007-08. The soil of the experimental site was loamy sand in texture containing 112.16, 12.05 and 199.59 kg ha-1 available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, respectively in 0-30 cm soil depth with pH 8.28 and 0.08 per cent organic carbon content.
