dc.description.abstractLeptadenia reticulata is very valuable medicinal plants popularly known as Jivanti belonging to family Asclepiadaceae. It is specially known for its stimulant and restorative properties in Ayurveda and it also important constituents of many well reputed ayurvedic formulations. Its principal constituents are leptadenol, leptidin, b-sitosterol, b-amyrin acetate. It possesses the appetizer, aphrodiac, anticancerous and antibacterial properties.en_US
