It is specially known for its stimulant and restorative properties in Ayurveda and it also important constituents of many well reputed ayurvedic formulations. Its principal constituents are leptadenol, leptidin, b-sitosterol, b-amyrin acetate. It possesses the appetizer, aphrodiac, anticancerous and antibacterial properties.en_US
