Abstract
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY: 1. To study the socio-economic characteristics of the trained and untrained farmers. 2. To determine the level of knowledge of the trained and untrained farmers regarding the improved practices of wheat crop. 3. To determine the extent of adoption of the trained and untrained farmers regarding the improved practices of wheat crop. 4. To study the differences in production of wheat, potato and paddy crops of the trained and untrained farmers. 5. To study the relationship between socio-economic characteristics of the trained farmers and their extent of adoption of improved practices of wheat crop. 6. To elicit the suggestions of the trained farmers to make the future training programme more effective.
