dc.description.abstractThe present investigation entitled “Effect of chemical desuckering on growth, yield and quality in rustica tobacco (Nicotiana rustica L.) varieties” was carried out at Bidi Tobacco Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during the year 2012-13.The field experiment was laid out in Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD) with four replications comprising nine treatment combinations of three varieties (GC 1, GCT 2 and GCT 3) and three suckericides treatments (hand desuckering, pendimethalin @ 0.45 % + 2 % urea and fatty alcohol @ 6 % + 2 % urea).en_US
