dc.description.abstractBovine neoplasms were surveyed from the recorded cases at the Department of Pathology from 1965 to 1982, Incidence of aquamous cell carcinoma of the horn was highest amongst the reported tumours. Kankrej bullocks were found to be most succeptible to cancer of horn, The incidence of cancer of horn was found to be maximum in the age group of 7 to 10 years which happens to be the period when bullocks are used maximum for draught purposes and cows for milk purposes. In front of the observed cases paring of horn, application of oil and paints and stress appeared to be the predisposing factors to cancer of horn.en_US
