dc.description.abstractThe present investigation entitled Effect of different growing medias and levels of IBA (Indole butyric acid) on growth and development of khirni (Manilkara hexandra Roxb.) seedlings cv. ‘Local’ was conducted at Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during year 2010-11. The treatments comprised of different levels of growing medias (Soil + Coco peat + Vermicompost (1:1:1), Soil + Sand + Vermicompost (1:1:1), Soil + Coco peat + FYM (1:1:1), Soil + Coco peat + Vermicompost + Sand (1:1:1:1) and Soil + FYM (1:1)) and IBA (0, 1000 and 2000 ppm). The experiment was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design (Factorial) with fifteen treatments and replicated thrice.en_US
