Abstract
Cotton is an important fibre crop of malvaceae family.
Due to wide variability it hold potential for further
improvement. In the present investigation on cotton
comprised of 14 parents (4 Lines and 10 Testers), their 40 F1
hybrids (by Line x Tester design) and two standard checks (G.
cot DH 9 and G. cot MDH 11). The material was tested using
randomized block design with three replications at Agronomy
Farm, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during kharif
2007-08.
