Abstract
Dairy sector witnessed a spectacular growth in between 1971-1996, due to Operation Flood, an integrated cooperative dairy development programme on the proven model of Anand pattern implemented in three phases by NDDB. In 2001 India became the world leader in milk production, closely followed by the USA, with a production volume of 84 million tons. In this era of globalization there is need to increase productivity and handle the milk in professional and scientific way by means of technology. Krishna Industries has come up with various dairy equipments which help the farmers in efficient way of collection and handling of milk.
