Abstract
The present study entitled “Optimization of Cropping Pattern on
Tobacco Based Farms in Anand district of Middle Gujarat Agro-climatic
Zone” was undertaken. The time reference of the study was one complete
agricultural year 2004-05.
In all, a sample of 150 tobacco growers distributed among 3
talukas of Anand district were selected with the help of multistage stratified
random sampling for the study
